Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd. (GCMMF) is a cooperative and is not listed on a stock exchange. Amul’s website explains the structure: farmers supply milk to village dairy cooperative societies, district cooperative milk unions process and package it into milk products, and GCMMF markets the Amul products. GCMMF’s online shop describes the federation as the apex organisation of the dairy cooperatives of Gujarat, with 18 member unions covering 33 districts, about 3.6 million milk producer members and 18,554 village milk cooperative societies, with milk procurement of approximately 28 million litres a day. The same page gives a network of 90 sales offices, 10,000 dealers and 10 lakh retailers; these figures are undated, and the turnover it states (US$ 6 billion) is for 2021-22.

Amul’s website says its exports reach more than 50 countries. GCMMF’s managing director, Jayen Mehta, told PTI in April 2025 that revenue grew 11% to Rs 65,911 crore in 2024-25, from Rs 59,259 crore, and that the un-duplicated revenue of the Amul brand rose to around Rs 90,000 crore, according to BestMediaInfo. A 2025-26 figure could not be verified.
