United Breweries said on 17 July 2026 that a new canning line at its Nizam Brewery in Telangana had commenced operations after its first product trial. The line, part of a Rs 90 crore investment announced in 2025, increases the brewery’s annual production capacity by 0.4 million hectolitres.
