Magnavale provides ambient, chilled and frozen storage across a network of UK facilities, with cold storage sites at Chesterfield, Scunthorpe, Warrington and Easton near Grantham. Its services include blast freezing, up-tempering of frozen goods, contract packing for chilled and frozen goods, export services including container loading and bonded storage, automated tray washing at its Chesterfield facility, date coding and labelling.
According to its site, several cold storage businesses at the Chesterfield, Scunthorpe and Warrington sites merged under the Rick Bestwick brand in 2016, and the business adopted the Magnavale name in 2021. The company says it has more than 30 years of experience and that all its cold stores are BRC-accredited to AA standard or above. It is a member of the British Frozen Food Federation and the Cold Chain Federation.
