Anadolu Efes is a beer and soft drinks group whose website lists operations in Türkiye, Russia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Ukraine and Belarus. Its history page says beer production began in 1969 with two facilities under the Efes Pilsen brand, and that the group’s four publicly traded beer and malt companies merged under Anadolu Efes in 2000. After a strategic alliance with SABMiller in 2011, it acquired SABMiller’s beer operations in Russia and Ukraine, and AB InBev became a shareholder in 2016. The two companies then agreed to combine their Russian and Ukrainian beer operations, after which AB InBev Efes B.V. began operating in both countries.
The management page says Ahmet Kürşad Ertin has served as Chief Executive Officer since 1 July 2026. Food Engineering ranks Anadolu Efes 93rd in its 2026 Top 100 Food and Beverage Companies, with food sales of $5,677 million (243,847 million Turkish lira) for the year to December 2025.
