Kirin Holdings Company, Limited is a Japanese beverage, health science and pharmaceuticals group with its head office in Nakano-ku, Tokyo. The company was incorporated on 23 February 1907, and Kirin Brewery Co., Ltd. changed its name to Kirin Holdings and became a holding company on 1 July 2007. Its group companies include Kirin Brewery, Kirin Beverage, Mercian, Lion, New Belgium Brewing in the US, FANCL, Blackmores and the pharmaceutical company Kyowa Kirin.
Kirin ranks 54th in Food Engineering’s 2026 Top 100 Food and Beverage Companies, which puts its food sales at $10,583 million (1,658,811 million yen) for the year to December 2025, against total revenue of 2,433,363 million yen. Yoshinori Isozaki is Representative Director of the Board and CEO, and Takeshi Minakata is Representative Director of the Board, President and COO.
