Yamazaki Baking Co., Ltd. is a Japanese bakery and confectionery group with its head office in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. The company was established on 21 June 1948 and is led by President Nobuhiro Iijima. Its English-language site describes its businesses as bread, Japanese-style confectionery, Western-style confectionery, and processed bread and prepared rice, alongside overseas operations.
The group includes Japanese companies such as Fujiya, Tohato and Vie de France, and lists overseas food businesses in the US, France, Hong Kong, Thailand, Taiwan, Malaysia, China, Singapore, Indonesia and Vietnam. Its group page does not list operations in India or the UK.
Yamazaki Baking ranks 71st in Food Engineering’s 2026 Top 100 Food and Beverage Companies, which puts its food sales at $7,861 million (¥1,232,096 million) for the year to December 2025.
