Koch Foods describes itself as a vertically integrated poultry company whose capabilities start on the farm and end with the customer. It sells through grocery and retail, foodservice, export and child nutrition channels, with products including fully cooked frozen, raw frozen and stuffed chicken entrees, as well as wings, nuggets, tenders and breast fillets for foodservice. A 2018 item on its website gives its location as Park Ridge, Illinois, and says Koch became a vertically integrated poultry company in 1996, growing from a one-plant operation to one of the leading poultry companies in the United States.
Joseph Grendys is CEO. In September 2025 the company reported that US Foods had named it Overall Vendor of the Year. Food Engineering ranks Koch Foods 96th in its 2026 Top 100 Food and Beverage Companies with food sales of $5,500 million for the year to December 2025, a figure that is Food Engineering’s estimate.
