Lindt & Sprüngli is a Swiss chocolate group whose holding company, Chocoladefabriken Lindt & Sprüngli AG, is based in Kilchberg in the canton of Zurich and listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange. The company describes itself as a global leader in premium chocolate and has made chocolate since 1845. Dr. Adalbert Lechner is Group CEO. Its brands are Lindt, Ghirardelli, Russell Stover, Caffarel and Hofbauer & Küfferle.
The group lists subsidiaries in the UK, at Feltham, and in India, at New Delhi. In September 2026 it announced its first retail boutique in India, in Aerocity, New Delhi.
Lindt & Sprüngli ranks 74th in Food Engineering’s 2026 Top 100 Food and Beverage Companies, which puts its food sales at $7,453 million (SwF 5,915 million) for the year to December 2025.
